Carla's artistic journey was deeply influenced by the illustrators of children's books she adored as a child. Her teenage years in Africa further nurtured her love for creating art for kids, inspiring her to capture the vibrant colors and patterns of the animal kingdom—especially jungle animals. Being Irish adds a playful, comical twist to her work, as she enjoys incorporating humor into her creations.
